Bio:

Although the Nordfang raiders no longer plague the coasts of Provinzia as much as they once had, the legacy of those fierce warriors have not left many of the mainland songs and tales especially of those in the northern realms. Many warriors of the north seek to emulate these fearless warriors and fight with equal ferocity, to inherit the raiders' formidable reputation and strike fear in their enemies. Of these warriors, none but a few rival the skills and savagery of the She-Wolf.

A willful and wild girl at youth, Ronja was a bane to many of the trainers and mages at the Guild as well as to her many fellow Acolytes. Many of her sparring partners were left bruised and battered after a single round with her and those that managed to get a stike on her were left worse. She was all power and viciousness, but lacked any technique or skill.

Once passing her Trials, the mighty Vanguard Volf 'The Jawless' took her under his wing as an apprentice. He had seen her fierce way of fighting, which reminded him much of his own style and technique without the proper talent. Volf wanted to train and mold her into an effective fighter and to pass on his techniques and skills.

While an apprenticeship under a Vanguard lasts only two years or a few at most, Ronja stayed with Volf for many more years. His talents and knowledge were a source of much interest for the She-Wolf, but so was his company. There were hardly any days you would not see Volf without his pup following at his heel. It was only many years later before Ronja finally went off on her own to seek contracts alone. But whenever she returned to the Guild, she always sought her former master first to share a drink of mead with.

Ronja's fighting style is swiftness and brutality over precision or strength. Charging headfirst into battle or combat, she fights like a dragon possessed, her axes cleaving and slicing through foes, beast and men alike, without respite. Only when her foes have been vanguished will she pause for a breath.

When need arises to switch from speed to defense, Ronja uses the combination of a shield and an axe. Her impatient nature and quick temper leaves her a poor defender though and if she sees an opening to push forward, she'll take it over blocking with her shield and staying put.

If there is one thing she respects and appreciates, it is strength and power over everything else. If one is able defeat her in combat or to even stand toe-to-toe with her, they will find themselves on the quickest path to earning her trust and friendship.

After combat or a contract, it is not uncommon to find Ronja in the biggest and loudest tavern to sing of her tales, to boast of her achievements or to celebrate a kill. No matter the occasion, it will all end with her trying to drink herself blind and likely broken tables and chairs and a few patrons missing a tooth or two.

Next up in the line-up to join the Vanguards is the savage and willful Ronja. She's got a temper and she'll cut you if you don't play nice, but if you best her she'll more than gladly share a mug of ale and share a tale by the fire. Maybe one day I'll actually remember to include her in my plans for future shorts and actually finish the ones I do have planned.
