One day, 15-year-old me was making my way, walking quickly, not running, to the lunchroom and right on the ramp leading up into it there was a very poorly placed rug that I tripped over and face-planted HARD on the ground. I thought I was fine as I got up, until my nose started bleeding, I had never had a real nosebleed before, so, I was freaking out more about the bleeding than the pain. I pretty much ended up being fine, but, shortly after my fall, that rub was taken out of the lunchroom, which is good, because I was not the first one to trip on it, but, I was certainly the last.

Yeah, I don't even know why they had it THERE of all places, by the time you get to the cafeteria, I'm pretty sure most of the gook is off of your shoes, since there was carpeting in the entry ways of the front doors and the doors that actually lead into the cafeteria from outside. My grandma was pissed, but, at least they took the rub out.
