Recently I bought a copy and watched 1976 Network, and I'm glad I finally did because it's fucking excellent, if I saw it earlier, I would've totally put it among my honorable mentions , its acting, biting satire and monologues reach heights that most modern movies don't. youtu.be/ZwMVMbmQBug

Aside from homaging that classic that is still fresh in my mind, I was also inspired by a bit from The Simpsons where the squeaky voiced teen character once said to someone "Sir, you have a very annoying voice!" but I couldn't find a clip or a quote of that, but I'm most certain I'm inspired by a moment like that.
