Vorganius: So, how well can these serve us?
Vezzertik: The painfully tedious modifications turned out to be of great help, I have installed a flying ability within the arms and feet of the droid, furthermore I figured out a new formula for a stronger metal to protect it, and it is able to shoot a laser that is as powerful as that of a saucer!
Vorganius: What all of this means... is that we'd just have to send an army of these to exterminate the humans?
Vezzertik: Precisely, your lordship! No need to send troopers or saucers, my masterpiece has the power and determination of both, that planet is already ours!
Vorganius: Hmmmmm... scrap it.
Vezzertik: W-WHAT?!?? Y-Your lordship, don't you understand that this will revolutionize our warfare?!
Vorganius: So that THESE get all the fun of killing and destroying while we sit on our asses? No chance for that, I'm afraid!

This thing moves pretty much like the robots from The Mechanical Monsters of Fleischer's Superman: youtu.be/uwxyTLkDoLQ?t=219 and that eyepiece "lifts up" and shoots a heat ray/laser in a similar way Gort from The Day the Earth Stood Still does. Too bad they won't be used because the Emperor wants to satisfy his and the other clones' thirst for blood and violence.
Tho, I could always create another alien invader OC that is smart enough to build and employ an army of robots.

Either way the reason I did this is because recently I rediscovered my old alien invaders project, I found some old art, and that got me to give it another shot, and appreciate how much I've evolved my abilities an artist, with better backgrounds and coloring than the old.
I should treasure my original stuff, and while Evilokio has the priority at the moment, I ain't leaving behind this old thing my younger self fantasized about a lot back in the day.
