Take THAT, Dancetale!! XP lolWell, soon the musical movie La La Land comes out in theaters, and my interest has raised after the praise it got at the premiere, I'm really looking forward to it now (unfortunately I'll have to wait til January to see it). This is my tribute AND a crossover with my Undertale OTP (please spare me the "I hate this ship but this is cute" and similar comments and melodrama).
Fellow shippers asked me to draw Sans and Muffet dancing together, so there you go.
Sometimes Muffet is weird to draw, in most works of fiction anthro spiders either have four arms and four legs or six legs and two arms, Muffet having six arms and standing on two legs kinda makes her look like those hindu gods with multiple arms. lol
Undertale stuff belongs to Toby Fox
La La Land belongs to Damien Chazelle (let's see how much fanart it'll make!)

Sans Sans Land or La La Land: Undertale Edition

Well, any hatred of this ship depends on when it happened. If we're talking right after the events of Undertale, then this ship shouldn't happen! At that moment, Sans was too apathetic and lazy to pursue any sort of romance. However, that mentality came because Sans felt he didn't need to do anything since no matter what he did, it would all be undone by a reset (potential genocide run notwithstanding). So if several years pass and the threat of a reset fades from Sans' mind, he could get some of his work ethic back. Remember, the quantum physics book in his house and that machine in the back of his and Papyrus' house? That suggests he has a brilliant scientific mind which it must have taken a lot of hard work to acheivement. He could get all of that back and have the state of mind to be romantic, he just needs to get the threat of a reset off of his mind.
As for La La Land, I didn't see it, but my parents did. They said it was a good and fun movie with some great songs, but the fact that it didn't win the Award for Best Picture at the Oscars was well-deserved. From what I can gather, La La Land is a musical about how great musicals are. Speaking of which, have you heard of Undertale the Musical?

Okay, this happens some years after Sans gets better.
But you know, I've also seen people giving arguments that Sans isn't as depressed or traumatized as people say he is, but what do I do? By this point I don't take ANY side and just do what I want to do. Sometimes I get tired of people taking Undertale so seriously and treating the canon like biblical commandments that nobody can do differently (kudos to those that are consistent with that mentality, but I've seen so many morons that in a way or another don't follow their own rules), guys, relax, it's not real, let people have fun.
I hope you have this outlook on ALL ships revolving Sans.
Enjoy the film when you'll get around it. I haven't heard of the Undertale musical but honestly I don't have interest in seeing it.

Strange thing, for me Canon pairings is Sans x Alphys and Grillby x Muffet, but somehow i am like this ship too.
In Underswap my Canon ship is Papdyne ( By the way in Undertale too) but i also ship.Carrot Paps with Underswap Muffet.

"Canon" means that it's actually in the game.
Alphys and Undyne are actually romantically involved in the game, while Sans never showed romantic interest towards Alphys or Papyrus towards Undyne (even though they're friends) while Grillby and Muffet never even meet in the game.
All those other ships you mentioned (mine included) are just ships made by fans, they're not canon.
Maybe you meant to say that those are your OTPs, your favorite ships.

I'm not sure, people already made drawings of Muffet as Widowmaker. But I see that there aren't many with Sans as Reaper (Sans is usually drawn as Mei or Tracer or Soldier) so we'll see, maybe I'll work something out
