Description
This is a bit of fan art from one of favourite scenes from my most favourite movie EEEVVVEEERRR-- Equilibrium !!!
Those who have seen this movie will know exactly what scene this is from! 
(Those who haven't seen Equilibrium, MUST!!). This sort of a speed painting and is my first try at drawing on only a few layers (most of it was drawn on a single layer with the only the true exceptions being the light rays, 'gun shot debris' coming from the sweepers' helmets, the fire coming from John Preston's guns, the background mist and trees).
The reference is a screen shot taken directly from a DVD of the movie, therefore I am unable to link back to any website (and besides, posting a completely unaltered screenshot from a DVD on to the internet is probably illegal, anyway!!

I just added some sharp high-lights to to give the image more contrast and make it seem a little more inersting!

I'm gonna be honest...at first look, I thought this was just a screenshot from the movie, and I was like, "Umm, what is this? This isn't original." Then I looked closer. And part of my brain exploded when I realized it was a painting. So well done!

hmmm. a scene to paint next. OH! how about either
1) where he was going through that hallway shooting all those people
or
2) when he was in the room at the end of the movie before he fought Father and he cut off that dudes face!
OR
3) when he was sword fighting all those dudes and he stabbed one with a sword and the other with a broken sheath!

4) i'm cloudy on this part, but i'm pretty sure there was a part where he listened to music and he started to cry.
