Description
This is a drawing of my cat Pippin. Its for an assignment due on monday morning for my drawing class. Its drawn in compressed charcoal and conti crayon an paper. Its amazing i finished it 2 days early which is a first for me. usually i would be up until 4 in the morning on the day its due so yay for me.

Cats are amazingly hard to draw, and I think you've done a great job drawing Pippin. I love cats very much~ and for that, and the incredibility of this job:

Charcoal is always a disaster if you're not careful - well, if I'm not careful - but conti, namely red, destroys my fingertips to the nth degree. I'll still to pencil + such, thanks!

thank you. yeah i named him after the LOTR character (obviously) the name just suited him beacause pippin in the movie is a little wierd n crazy so thats what my kitty is like. (laughs) i dont really mind conti. sometimes i like it more than charcoal.

This turned out great! The colour scheme is purrfect (sorry) and I love the sparseness of the hatching for the shadows. Wikid bg too.
