I think this is exactly how Jason felt he felt tricked and mislead but mostly betrayed because Bruce tricked him and he was looking at it like a chance to reconnect with Bruce like Bruce promised but Bruce just used him to get to Damian and right there Jason was heart broken when he realized it but showed his emotions through his younger self and this is the worst thing Bruce ever did and I think after Damian gets brung back to life he tries to reconnect with Jason again and Jason just doesn't want to get hurt again so he stays a far distance away from Batman and the Bat-family because he just trust himself in the crazy life he lives

I just have to say that my heart is literally hurting so much right now. I'm crying it hurts so much. This is beautiful and heart breaking.
there is a fanfic on A03 that deals with Roy & Kori confronting Bruce about Jason losing his memories due to this, and if you listen to 'Once' by Caleb Kane while reading that or even this...well brace yourself. its a train wreck of angsty feels.
[ps; I love it and you did an awesome job]

Oh, this is good. And so very sad. I hadn't even connected this scene with Jason's later decision to remove his memories. That makes so much more sense to me now. ;_;
What really killed me about that sequence with Bruce was how Jason was opening up to him, finally, after their partial reconciliation during the events of "Death of the Family." He was so willing to go with Bruce and help him, and maybe even consider working with him on a more permanent basis. From what Jason shouted at Bruce later, my personal theory is that Jason thought/hoped/dreaded that Bruce might be working up to asking him to be his partner again, now that Robin was gone.
And instead, it turned out that Bruce didn't want to work with him, didn't need his help with the mission, wasn't even thinking about him at all. Bruce used the fragile trust that had been growing between them to lure Jason under false pretenses back to the scene of his own horrific murder. Bruce is only thinking about Damian. He doesn't give a damn about what something like that could do to Jason's psyche. If he did, he would have told Jason what he wanted in the first place instead of employing manipulation and using the scene of Jason's death as a way to shock his system. Way to be a complete and utter bastard, Bruce. If you lose Jason forever because of this, it will be nothing less than you deserve.

Sorry this is long winded...
Well from what I know. In the Jason Todd comics recently a mystical person/being has erased Jason's memories of all the bad things that happened to him. This included the Joker killing him, the joker revealing he was using him as a pawn the whole time to hurt Batman, as well as a trap Joker did to his helmet. I am unsure if the trap scarred his face or not though.
Any who, back to this part. Bruce/Batman asks Jason Todd/Redhood for help. He brought him to a place that reminded him of how he died by the hands of the Joker. Bruce wants to bring Damian back somehow. Probably by tracking down the pit the Brotherhood of Shadows used to bring Jason back. Mostly because prior to all this Damian was killed.
Jason having flashes of the repressed memories did not wish to remember any of these bad things and had a fight with Bruce/Batman. Jason turning his back and walking away.

It wasn't even a spot that reminded him. Bruce literally tricked Jason to the VERY spot that Jason died trying to save himself and his mother.

I'm pretty sure you are refering to the picture... anyway, I think that Jason was remembering even feeling like those times that he would fight alongside Batman as Robin, but the kind of manipultation, of trickery that Batman used shattered those feelings, so his "younger self" is watching, impotent while Red Hood and his father figure exchanged blows. When Red Hood just turns away, unwilling to continue this joke, the younger self tries to reach out to Bruce, but his present counterpart stops him, shaking his head, as if Bruce, the whole situation is just not worthy it. His younger self watches Bruce sadly, but, heartbroked, turns his head as well, in the third panel from down to up, you can see tears on Robin's face. This is very sad and Bruce was a complete jerk and all the curses in existence...

In the comics or in this picture?
Because if it's in the picture it might mean that Jason Todd still holds some respect for Batman even though he was trying to make him relive his death.
In the comics it's mostly because batman was trying to make him remember his death which happened when he was a kid. My guess is Batman was going to try and track down a Lazarus pit and use the one Ra's al Ghul did to restore Jason with. Problem would be it would drive him a tiny crazy like Jason got tainted by it.

Oh man..Poor Jason!~ So he doesn't help revive Damian then? I kinda see why though. Jason got messed up leaving the Lazarus Pit so Damian prolly would come out way worse.

Jason wasn't ressurrected by the Lazarus Pit, he was ressurected because Superboy Prime did a punch so hard that it fractured the time frame and "corrected" a death that sould never had happened, Jason literally clawed his way out of his own coffin (as if his life wasn't traumatic enough), anyway a lot of stuff happens you shold read Batman #25 Annual (1940-2011) it explains EVERYTHING, from how and why he was brought back to life, how he ended up in Talia's care and all that jazz. Back to the topic, the Pit was used to restore his MIND, even thou he came back, the damage the Joke was also fresh, suffocation in his coffin did the rest and he was bran dead... there are many theories why he became "crazy" involving the Pit;
1-He dumped into the Pit when Ra's was using it (there never was a time that TWO people were in the Pit at the same time) so Ra's socyopath personalities, his "dark nature" might have influenced Jason. If you think about it, Jason's belief is almost the same as Ra's, they only kill if necessary, but they kill with purpose, believing that they were making the world a better place.
2-He didn't stay in it long enough to heal him completely (Talia pushed him when Ra's has already entered and got him before her father emerged) so it's possible that his psyque was damaged by it.
Those two are most accepted.

Yeah, but he PROBABLY would have helped any way he could if Bruce had just ADKED him instead of doing...THIS! This is the worst thing you could possibly do to a person! DAMN YOU BRUCE! YOU DON'T DESERVE YOUR SON!
This is actually the issue I give up on Bruce and decided Jason does not deserve him... it was the most depressing decision I ever had.

Actually its not so much that Damian is Bruce's biological son. The only one really effected by that was Tim, and mostly because Damian kept using it for a reason TO TRY AND KILL HIM! ("I was a bit rambunctious." "YOU WERE A BIT PSYCHOTIC!") That was not the best first impression, and considering he was replaced soon afterwards by him...yeah it was a dark time for Tim. However its clear Bruce loves them all equally, he would be reacting the same way if any of his other kids died. In fact this was exactly how he reacted after Jason's death as well. The real issue is...Bruce is treating them All like crap ad has forgotten not only that they're human beings, but also that they're his sons! He just had the most EMOTIONAL/ HEALING/ BEAUTIFUL HUG with Jason one issue before, where he was almost promising he was about to be his father again, that he would watch over him, that they were going to start off on a clean slate, that it was time for him to return and forget the past- AND THEN HE THREW THE SIT AT HIM! HE USED HIM! HE ABUSED HIM! IN HIS MADNESS HE DIDN'T THINK OF JAY AS A PERSON BUT A TOOL! AND I WILL NEVER FORGIVE HIM FOR IT! *rant mode*
huff...huff...huff.. sorry, I know its been a few months, but it still makes me angry. But yeah, its not so much that Damian is biological, and more just that..well... he was Bruce's baby. He was was his son and now he's... gone. I still don't believe it excuses him for what he's doing to the family though, and I hope when the time comes, that To punches the shit out of him, and that Kory gives him a death threat. Because someone has to do it, and god damn it they will probably not forgive him for how he treated his son/ their best friend/ possible future romantic partner.... I ship it (sorry.).
In the end though it wasn't Damian that's in the way, so much as their baggage between them. Jason's inability to understand unless you tell him something up straight (like "I love you.") and Bruce's stupid pride stopping him from saying what he needs to. Their issues go back LONG before Damian, but I will not deny the pain off his loss has effected B greatly.

At this point Bruce is just probably so shattered that he's really not thinking correctly or at least not thinking of the consequences. He lost Jason and that nearly killed him, tore his mind apart and cause him to almost fall to darkness (killing). The now it's happened again and he's so desperate to figure out a way out. Remember Bruce lost his first family as a young man when his parents were murdered. Loosing family and people he loves is likely a near neurosis with him. Plus this time I assume he's trying to avoid the same mistakes he did with Jason. He didn't avenge Jason by killing Joker, nor did he attempt to "save" him ( not that he likely even knew that such a thing was possible). But now he does, he knows that the Lazarus pit can under certain conditions restore life ( now that the whole crisis and Superboy punch has been removed and Jason's revival streamlined to just be due the effects of the pit in the new 52). Since Damien's killer the clone is dead, all Bruce can do is to revive his son. And as much as I hate to admit it, Jason has been dead or at least assumed so for over a decade, meaning he doesn't share the same bond that Dick and Tim share with Bruce after being partners for so many years. Plus add to that his psychotic and murderous behavior I'm not certain that Bruce considers him family, or perhaps he doesn't consider him in the same light as his other three sons. Perhaps his strained mind drawing from these buried feelings has rationalized that the bad seed could be sacrificed for the good of one of the good apples, not something Bruce would ever do intentionally in a sound state of mind but perhaps his distraught nature currently lead him to make these series of callous and cruel decisions. I do hope that Damien is either revived or in the process trying Bruce realizes he's lost one son and has basically thrown away another and returns to get Jason back and prevent his return to darkness.
