A curious and quiet fellow, he is drawn to the unusual, but is not quite as excitable himself. He's so extremely patient that he could just sit and watch the grass grow if he wanted. Despite this Cizin usually values action over discussion, unfortunately that can come off as him being withdrawn or antisocial. When he does speak he can be blunt if not tactless with his words, so isn't very good with small talk or other kinds of beat around the bush type conversation. He's usually incredibly serious, but he's not above giving a little sarcastic quip or realizing when he's in the wrong. In fact he's so ernest in his actions he could probably be easily taken advantage of, but would be sorely disappointed with the person if he finds this the case. It's in this and his ability that can turn his mood south with but a few words.

Ability: Defeatist- when things get hard he stresses himself out more than necessary, and has a tendency to get depressed. But it can take him a while to get to this point, especially when he actually expects things to get bad, and can take the blows as they come. Insult him regularly though and he'll start to take them to heart.

History:
Cizin was born to a tribe of nomads, a group that for generations had been wandering the desert resort. A simple folk, just trying to survive the harsh weather, they'd set up a market in busier places of the desert, and move on to the cliffs and other areas when the weather started to get bad.
He wasn't raised by just his parents, the whole tribe was a close nit group that took care of their own, and raised their young together. As such Cizin had many people who he called aunt, uncle, brother, sister, but there was never really anyone his age. It wasn't an easy life, especially for the young Archen, being the only child among a group of mostly adults or teenagers, but he made friends along the way, seeing them again whenever his tribe came back to that area again, and got along fairly well with his elders.

The adults never really treated Cizin as a child, and he had his own share of the work when he got old enough, and there was little time for play. He helped out with whatever he could, from minding stands to helping pack up for the next market. He tended to gravitate towards the more scholarly stands and he loved sneaking away and getting the Uncle there to teach him to read and write, an uncommon skill set within the tribe.

It was something his parents noticed after a while and they discussed it with other parents... perhaps they should send Cizin somewhere outside the desert for schooling, after all he was hardly interested with the other skills of other clansmen's had to offer. They conferred with the elder and the chief with this, and while it wasn't unusual for young to leave the tribe for a time to learn their own trade or visit the outside world, the chief thought that he was too young and that should he leave too soon he might become one of the outsiders.

But the curious little archen was thirsty for more knowledge and eventually had read all the few scrolls and texts the tribe had. He sought out new ones whenever they visited another market for trade and learned of the schools in the world outside the desert from an outsider. He begged his parents to let him go but without the chief's approval they could not let him go, so they refused.

It took a long time he was eventually able to persuade the tribe chief to let him leave the desert and to go to school in the ever large and very different but still nearby Castelia City.

It took him a long time to get used to being surrounded by strangers and how to interact with them, but he got the hang of it after the first couple years of school, but Cizin mostly kept to himself and spent a lot of time in the library of the academy. He loved that wondrous building, and read as many books as he could, and even had a great relationship with the librarians. He was there so often the librarians would let him help out, and one even taught him the ropes of how things worked around there. Wanting to one day own his own private library he started his own collection of books, visiting various bookstores around the city. There was one he came across that even repaired old and damaged books! Fascinated with the concept, he started to work their part time, when he wasn't in school or volunteering at the library.

Years passed and Cizin grew up, it was a bit lonely not being able to see his tribe other than the rare occasions they were nearby, but he made friends where he was and once in a while would receive a (poorly written) letter. He would send them a simple one back. He graduated from school with good marks and started to put more focus on his interests, wanting to learn these crafts best he could, and completed his apprenticeship. For a time he returned to his tribe but found he had become an outsider, just as the chief had originally feared, and could not fit in as he had as a child. With that, and him being old enough to be on his own he traveled some in search of a new place to call home.

Coming across a desolate little town that reminded him a bit of how it was back in the desert he decided to settle down for a while, maybe setting up a little private library like he always dreamed of.

- Despite traveling there's still many things he doesn't know and has yet to experience... for example, he has never seen snow.
