I was sure this was a computer-generated piece. The flares at almost too bright and amazing to be real.

It was done on top of a steel rod with plenty of rocks around.

Well, I used the Sigma 150 mm 2,8 lense, so I stood 40 - 50 cm away from the source. But sparks did fly past me several times.

WOW this is amazing for a second when I first clicked this piece I thought that it was a digital art piece, especially the way the the embers are streaming up looking almost like hair its amazing I love the way the highlights within the fire the battle and pressure right in the center of the photo is the main focus, great work!
