My audition piece for =BlackLillian 's OC Tournament.

I love how Todd has all this equipment and skill, but lacks confidence. Should I continue on to the actual contest, it should be interesting having him develop. Though he is an uber dork, we shouldn't forget that he is a specially trained soldier. Hopefully in the contest I can illustrate that he is indeed experienced on the battlefield. He just might not be as graceful as the likes of Solid Snake or Master Chief.

About Todd: It is not in Todd’s nature to "angst" or brood. He has a bright outlook on the world and people for the most part. He does have some nasty demons in his past, as well as low self-confidence, but he manages to suppress these to get the job done. For a soldier, he's not very serious. I mean, he's serious about his job, but he knows how to have fun. He’s prone to chuckle when he's nervous, and will make smartass jokes to himself to keep spirits high. Unless someone is being a real asshole, Todd will not make wise cracks, a la Spider-Man for example, toward opponents. Todd will not kill and avoid all actions leading the suspect's demise. If he can’' find anyway to come to a peaceful resolution, he will use force, though he apologizes afterward. He has had some Close Quarters Combat training, but it is not his forte.

What are the Peacekeepers?
Think of them as a militarized police force. They act as both police officers and an army for their government, mostly an army.

Todd's weaponry: He primarily uses a tazer gun and his arsenal of various grenades (except for grenades that can actually kill you). The only firearm he carries is a handgun, and even then, he usually does not use it unless absolutely necessary to subdue suspects. He's a pretty good shot, but does not shoot to kill. Todd will use the environment to his advantage.

Todd's defense: Other than his armor, he has a force field-type shield, controlled by his wristband.

The Hawk Unit: Air team comprised of fighter jets and helicopters. Jets fire missles and drop bombs, Copters drop supplies, as well as pursue ground targets. Todd is authorized to call on them as a last resort.

The Peacekeeper Special Ops Unit: Todd is the entrant, but these other characters will offer him support when needed.

Captain Aerodon Zildar (the lizard) - First in Command
Lieutenant Aubree Swift (the elf) - Magic and Myth Specialist
Sergeant Jerrod Thompson (black hair & goatee) - Weapon Specialist
Sergeant Maylea (the other girl) - Gadgets Specialist
Corporal Leandros (the panther) - Terrain Tactics Specialist
