*fave'd* ... Their soft sensuousness and the subtle shading all add to the sense of their being (literally) wrapped up in each other.
That the light is scattered rather than from a harsh, angular, single source adds greatly to the beauty here. It's that vagueness of dawn or twilight that makes me think about what isn't as vague in life. Or shouldn't be.
In an impudent moment when first seeing this, I thought of Hugo Z. Hackenbush exclaiming, in similar passionate throes, "If I hold you any closer, I'll be in back of you!" ("A Day at the Races," and I'm a Marxist — Groucho, that is.)
But the sublime, like this, and the farcical, like that, are often near neighbors. Methinks love often careens between the two extremes.
