my second painting of Laputa which was also done months ago.
photoshop+corel painter
edit : red balance reduced alot. added more colors.

In spanish La Puta means "The Bitch".
My parents came in the television room just in time for the Title of the movie to appear. They asked us what we were watching in a confused mood. lol

I'm wandering, Was this work inspired from the storys of Guliver's Travels, or from the Movie Laputa: Castle in the Sky by Hayao Miyazaki. Eather way, this is a cool work of art.

i just noticed that adding a futuristic flying machine was a bad idea. I think it detracted from the theme of the piece a little. When i get a chance, i might remove it from the piece lol

yes i agree. The piece is a bit monocramatic and i wanted to add more color. I did use subtle amount of blue, purple and green for the clouds but i think i could've done more to spice up the piece and took it a another level. Thanks for the support verve.
