This was a request via tumblr that I did as a special thing. I asked people to give me their OTP as an idea for drawings and I have chosen to draw some of them, this being one.Rumpelstiltskin/Mr.Gold and Belle holding Chip from Once Upon a Time

I think that this teacup can be more important than it seems. Not only for them. I mean, they keep it with so much love - a true love - and objects important to people have their own magic in the series.
I wouldnΒ΄t be surprised - IΒ΄m actually expecting that the Blue Fairy/Superior Mother can extract a powerful magic from the teacup, maybe to bring Baelfire/Neal back, to save Storybrooke or RumpleΒ΄s life, whatever. (just like she extracted magic from PinnochioΒ΄s hair - and the potion had to be drank in an important object for the amnesiac person)
Just hope the writers will think of this, too.

LOVE IT. Can I ask you something? My art takes... well gosh, it take FOREVER. Does it take you a long time to pop out a picture like this? This to me is simply elegant, and this year I want to tackle a more simple style that allows quicker completion. My last picture took a full day. A FULL DAY and while I personally don't mind it (because art is fun no matter how long it takes), between work and job hunts I don't have entire days to do art. Resulting in popping out a piece every two months or so (such a long time to go without art!)... and I'm sure it's just because I'm over thinking things, but do you have any advice for a dabbling artist? I just love your style!

Honestly, when I do digital art it takes me a whole day. I have found that when I work traditionally I tend to work faster and looser. I love the look of sketchy drawings so I have the freedom to be a bit messy when I work traditionally. This piece took me about an hour or so to sketch and then maybe 30-40 minutes to color? I have found that a quick way for me to speed up a lot of the coloring process is to lasso tool areas I want shaded and use the gradient tool. I also do brush shading, but gradients help with the look I like to give my drawings.
Really the best way to get faster is to practice. Doesn't need to be master pieces, just sketching every so often in a sketchbook helps.
