I was stating that, in the event my question wasn't rhetorical, your "Ask her" response wouldn't have made sense, since I wasn't replying to anything said by the model, but by youβ the person stating something about the model/photograph featuring the model.

Just making mention that Chun-Li's badge of identity (visually speaking) is her exaggeratedly muscular thighs. They are to Chun as blood is to MK, or as Keyblades are to Kingdom Hearts. When a cosplayer is missing the very identifying feature of the character they're attempting to portray, giving the model a pass is debatably reasonable if what's missing could only practically exist within fiction; but if, instead, in that very same scenario, someone were to say they're the real-life embodiment of the target character, then that's just begging for an interjection. Especially from anyone who's a fan of said character.

You're inferring that my original statement holds little to no credibility merely because this person doesn't have the unrealistic proportions and definitions of a fictional character? How superficial! I suppose nearly all cosplay iterations are to be held under such intensely harsh scrutiny and critically judgmental eyes by your lofty, flawless standards!
Furthermore, I'm not knowledgeable nor responsible for the aesthetic upkeep of the individual in this particular photo. If you're truly interested in learning about the physical components of purported individual in question, I defer your inquiries to them, which is what I rather sarcastically did beforehand. I'd imagine they would prove a better authority on answering the questions you desperately seek to find an answer to. Until then, train --- or rather troll harder. There is a difference between opinion and fact; subjective and objective. You made a claim that could easily be disproven, and now you're faulting me for pointing it out. If a Lacus Clyne cosplayer doesn't have pink hair, she's missed the mark, and anyone who claims it's an accurate depiction of the character is objectively wrong.
If a post-SF0 Sagat cosplayer doesn't have on an eyepatch, he's missed the mark, and anyone who suggests it's an accurate depiction of the character is factually incorrect.
If someone without the muscle definition of a body builder wants to cosplay Chun-Li, there's nothing wrong with that. It's a free country, more power to them. However, anyone who claims it's a "real-life" representation of the character isβ YOU GUESSED IT!β objectively wrong. And wrong will always be wrong. Deal with it.
