Yes it is my own idea. Thank you! At the time I really wanted to do a painting of an elephant and do something involving water so I just put the two together and this is what I got.

yup. been here since december! I have a full time job so it is hard to find time to paint so this is the first and only one I have done so far. Luckily my next painting is a commission. Do you have a teaching job yet?

Glad to hear you have found a job down there in Florida. No job yet, still in school. I graduate next month though. Glad to hear that you got to paint some. Are you enjoying Florida so far?

Thanks Kim. It just finally reached summer climate here in Maryland. Now I have to decide what to do with my life. This summer I am submitting my comic artwork to a bunch of publishers and comic boon companies.

How is the comic artwork submitting going? (Have not been on Deviant Art in while so i didn't see this til now)I Β have my artwork in a store now and i have also met a few artist that are motivating me and giving my pointers on ways to make money with my art down here. I feel incredibly lucky that i am in key west even though I don't really like it that much.Β

Submitting is going fine.Β Β I already completed 3 submissions and am currently working on a fourth.Β  That is awesome that your art is now in a store.Β  I am sure they will sell in no time.Β Just be careful of those sink holes that seem to keep popping up down there in Florida.Β  Β Β Β

One of my paintings sold within two weeks of the store being open. So you can imagine that I am ecstatic about that.

No sink holes in Key West luckily and hopefully hurricanes avoid us this year.Β
