Sketch commission for killer-sass on tumblr of De La Rey, a horse she has a very close connection to. The brief was to draw him as 'green but with a lot of promise', and I'm pleased to report she loves it! Originally this only had a plain background (seen here on my tumblr), but when the internet at the gite dropped and I had a while to spare, I decided to add a quick background and a big hedge for that pesky blackbird to shoot out of.
