Full Title: "In a fallen world, we must stand"Charcoal, chalk, and red ink, on grey acrylic primed canvas
Painted during the first part of the afternoon session at the "All Scotland Youth Council" held on October 31st 2010
The title, "In a fallen world, we must stand" is presumably a quote I heard somewhere and this is the image that came to me after hearing it... I say presumably because my sketchbook has the initial sketch and the title above it so I presume the link
Needless to say this is a photo and I dont have much luck taking great photos of my work

This picture should be seen from the left lower corner to the upper right, or vice-versa?

The angel figure is meant to be symbolic to the scene at the bottom, where the figure standing comforts/helps/etc the figure in distress while the angel spreads its wings giving comfort.
Although really any alternative reading is always welcomed
