Alrightee I am gonna try and get a story started again x) might be a bit rusty..

"There ya go, the halter still seem a little too large for your little baby head mm ? "
Kaira hummed that sentence softly to the 19 months old colt. A beautiful silver black admiralskaya with a very outstanding face marking. Paired with her 5 year old golden Zlesdin they made quite the young duo, a brave duo though. Both seemed curious and eager to explore the gorgeous grounds of imperials. Spring was here and the cherry blossoms were exploding in pink colours. The leaves matching the tips of Kaira's hair colour perfectly.

Slowly they walked around the property, both for bonding and getting her horses out and about after her first day of work here. Things went smoothly; Doc being a lovely stud to ride and her new students listening to her very well. The people were lovely, the food is great, her room is nice and the exact same one she shared with Connor just a few months ago. She was feeling happy about all of this. And even better, her memory seemed to slowly return.

Memories came back, more every day. Vague at first; like dreams you tried to remember. Running over the beach with him, those first few months with Connor. Her getting Nero, and buying him for herself eventually. The wedding. The white december. Her first years back in the netherlands. Learning how to ride. It all came back. And it made her feel warm and happy again. Even though some of the returning memories were less nice.

For example, the fire in the stables was becoming more clearer as well. The screaming of the horses. Her childhood, the window and glass that exploded in her face. The things she had done. The month she spent in Denmark when Connor was in the hospital. Some things she had rather left forgotten, but..couldn't she just ignore those ? She was so happy right now, two brand new horses and a fantastic job..This is exactly what she wanted.

" is it though ? "

Where did that come from ? Kaira blinked for a moment, the peace of just singing birds was disrupted. Was it a thought ? It sounded like a whisper almost. Kaira looked around, did anyone hear that ? No one seemed to look or reply however. So she just continued riding down to the racing course. It would be nice to just walk around there for a bit now that the jockeys were finished. The little colt was behaving himself rather well next to his "big brother". A brave one, cheerfully looking around.

" Cutie.. You are gonna grow into such a gorgeous stallion.. I can tell.. " Kaira said with a warm smile as she looked at him.

" Or just glue."

What was that ? Again Kaira looked around. It was a mere flash of a thought it seemed, or someone who spoke very softly. Yet there was no one around ? Why did these thoughts even come to her mind ? She didn't quite understand.. She felt ashamed for it almost. Even though no one heard that.
Once she returned to the stable she was greeted by a young groom who worked there. Irina send her an almost shy wave, the girl was sweet. Said she admired her riding and bond with Ghost. And of course Kaira felt very flattered about that.

"It's weakness, I can make her cry so easily. That'd be hilarious. "

Kaira's eyes shot open, the lighting thought caught her off guard yet again. So fast..So unlike her. Right ? She grew silent from that moment on, taking the two young horses back to their stalls. Slowly a panick came over her, she had it under control so well lately..Where is this coming from ? She wondered. There was only one explanation. She simply forgot, and now it's slowly starting to come back as well. Not now, not here..
