Takagiyama arc part 1.

Characters: Reiko Hanotsu, Takeda Junketsu, Kei Hanotsu, Kim Hikoroshi

Reiko: Dividing infocards – making teams for an uncoming mission

The day was nearly over. Team one successfully met Hikoroshi clan members in the old village. Takeda and Sayuri went outside to wait for other teams that were slowly making their way to the checkpoint. Signs have been painted on the trees and only one task was left - dividing shinobis in new teams. Dark forest didn’t let any light through, so it was gloomy inside the house. Reiko stood above the table, looking at the infocards in the light of the candles.

“You know, Flame village must surely hate its genins.” said redhead.

“How so?“ asked Kei.

“This mission is probably A rank. It’s like sending them to execution. I cannot wrap my head around it.“ Kim frowned and picked up a paper on the table. All the shinobis that were supposed to help Takagiyama had their name written there.

Kei put both of her hands on the hips: “We didn’t have to send anybody. Maybe a bit of gratitude wouldn’t hurt. “

“Oh, somebody will get hurt, but it won’t be my ego.“

Brunette in the middle sighed: “If you want to act like angry dogs, then go outside. It’s not very helpful.“

“Sorry Reiko.“ Said Kei and turned back to the table.

“However, Kim has a point. At least a bit. “ said brunette. “We cannot just put genins in the front line, but some of them have specialisations that belong there. I don’t want to risk anybody’s life just because i wasn’t able to think it through.“

“You’ll do fine.“ Said Kei and put her hand on Reiko’s shoulder.

I made my first picture for the ARC uwu .. it didn't end up as i wanted, Reiko looks like she's summoning a demon, but other than that, i kinda like it. The text doesn't completely fit the picture, because picture is set in the time when Takeda returns to inform them that some team arrived let's say, 5 minutes after the text.
