Behold, after almost a year working on this picture and several months on hiatus, I return to you. ARE YOU SATISFIED?

Yes, well, I remember doing the sketch for this last august at my mother's work... phew, so many things were in the way. Sooooo so sorry for being gone. D: This picture was drawn to Jillian by Within Temptation (MAY YOU NEVER SEE THE ORIGINAL SKETCH) and Zombie by The Cranberries.

Also, this pic has been through so much with me, including one of my best friends Toni shutting my laptop before I could save and ERASING ALL THE COLORS /STRANGLES HER.

Summer is almost here guise, LOOK FORWARD TO MORE AWESOMENESS. <3

My mind is blown and this has left me speechless.
I saw this in my inbox and I remembered the WIP and this is just INCREDIBLE. The gears and the clocks and shading and all the little details are just amazing! This is a truly fantastic piece! Epic job!

Hey, I remember the WIP of this! Nice to see it finally finished. I love the color choices - blue and sepia/gold is one of my favorite color schemes, and you pulled it off beautifully. I think the most impressive part, other than the insane amount of detail, is the shading in the flowers and cogs.

There are a couple of smudgy grey bits that throw off the overall smooth coloring, most noticably in the upper half of the right side. I'm not certain if they're supposed to be smoke, but their texture doesn't mesh very well with the smoothness of the rest of the picture.
Other than that little nitpick, though, this is gorgeous and intricate and very intriguing. I hope something like this happens when Tessa comes back!

Also, it's a special brush type, and I just grazed it over the runes scattered all over the picture (ex: the middle to the left, upper half of the right, bottom left corner) to show some kind of substance that they're giving off.

Oh my god. This is absolutely amazing. Lovelovelove! The details! I have this insane love for gears and clocks (woo-ee, just avoided a tragic typo there.)
So excellent! And made even better by the fact that i am hopelessly addicted to both "Jillian" and "zombie".
