Yes, let's listen to Kimi rant... I'm not in a happy mood. Ditto why I uploaded this pic. It's a recent Oekaki which suits my mood. Brooding... I'm only 5 days into year 11 and already it's grating on me. Half my classes suck because I have next to no-one to talk to, and to make matters worse my best friend, Kam, isn't in a single one of them. Call it what you will, but fate conspires against me. Japanese, the subject I want to learn with a passion, is somehow elusing me in the inspiration factor of things. I fumble on a few Kanji and the meaning of a few words, and suddenly it dawns on me I'm really going to have to work this year... I'm a natural procrastinator. Work is my enemy... stacks of homework do not make me happy, and right now, the stacks are looming.But enough angst... you probably want to know about this picture, right? This is one of my original charaters, Mikaeru. Do not let first impression pursuade you, he's not normally this brooding. In some ways I think he's like me, in some ways he's not (don't mind me, I'm off in the vague relm of trying to sound philosphical...). He hides his worries behind a faccade of brash immaturity, at odds with the past that in all respects should have made him bitter and cynical. An oppurtunity for greater things, dashed like paper in a shreading machine... (Hell don't ask me what I'm writing). What he really wants may be out of reach, or maybe it's not what he wants at all... it depends on what I decide to do with him in my fic ;P... (I will finish it eventually)
Now excuse me while I angst over a Kanji test...

Aww, poor Kimi-chan! ;___; I can relate to almost all of your rant though *whimper*. You know what you should do? Since you're buds aren't in your classes, you should take this oppertunity to talk to other people and make new friends and stuff. ^__^ Tehee, that's what I'm doing, because hardly any of my friends take my classes.
Hmm, but yeah. This drawing rocks. You know I love all your stuff.

I really love his look, even if you say its not his normal attitude I think it defines the character really well ( of course I probally wouldnt say that if I knew him *L*) I adore your style too! And dont worry about the kanji test, I've been there myself, trust me, it does get easier after the first few levels Ganbatte!

No sweat. Goofy characters are allowed to look brooding once in a while. And don't worry about that kanji thing, everyone slips up every now and then when trying to learn a language. I'm a procrastinator myself, so I know exactly how you feel with the homework thing.
Anywhooo, nice picture, I like the char. design and his clothes looks very cool. As usual, the eyes are captivating.

gah i know how that is.... i hate work... and with my paper a week thing and my pile of homework each day... and how i hold off doin it till 1am is not helpen... lol.. but atleast i get it done.. and aww i miss taken japanese class... but yeah, kanji really wasnt my strongest point.... bleh... ganbaru! ne?

He has a definite bishie fangirl drooling factor to him! I think drawing a picture that reflects how you feel is also conslusive to how we all make our characters...maybe with a little bit of ourselves right?
*hugs* As for school...I know what that is like. I suffered all of high school until really senior year like that. No one to really talk to and too much work even have a moment to myself.
College right now is the same too. It is hard but I am sure if you keep your chin up...even us procrastinating types can manage ! If you ever need someone to bitch to I am here
