i was hyped up and it's my first tutorial soooo...........sorry for the spelling, grammer, bad descriptions of things, etc..........

aww no problem, looking back on it i keep on thinking i made it too complicated, plus i've recently been drawing horses again (well a hippocampus)and i feel like i should do another how to draw horses tutorial maybe one a bit more in-depth!!

Lol Yeah I would too xD Well just like, the little details are the parts I have trouble with. I understand the layout of the circles, and imagining how the bones go, etc. I mean like, when you look at the face of a horse (just for example) then what details show up? (veins, bones, etc) Any little techniques you use for the shape of the hooves, helpful hints, etc. You know what I mean? Like, the tiny details that everyone assumes everyone knows. (hope this isn't confusing xD)

hee hee no it's not confusing and tbh i'm not rly sure how i could answer that, mostly cuz i haven't drawn horses in ages and i've only just started up again because...well the storyline in my comic demands it!!
but for things like hooves they're usually resemble the shapes of trapeziums but with curved lines, that raise towards the head and lower towards the back legs.
and for the head ....well i mostly learnt from tutorial books and analysing pictures and when i was younger i used to trace around the picture to get a feel for the shape of a horse.
it's quite difficult for me to explain but it does always help me that i have a horse statue in my room so i can just look at that and have a 3D perspective of a horse.

Definitely! I hate when it's just like, 3 instructions. "Draw circles, draw lines, color." It's like, "WHERE to put the circles? HOW to draw the lines? HOW to color??" hahahah, To amazon fo' books!!!

hee hee yer when i was colouring the she hulk picture i have in my gallery i was like...crap i'm not very good at lips hummmm to tutorials on deviantart *finds one looks at it*.....o.O "right so i colour here....and maybe here.....zfu??!!! :S you know what i'm gonna do it however way i wanna and if i screw up well.....sugarpuff"!!

Btw, you are also the only person I know who put how exactly to do the details, most tutorials are just like "Ok do the basic outline, now color, done"

thing is with detailing i would probably say (although disgusting..i don't like doing it but it helps)
is just to search on google horse muscular structures, which made me understand a bit more about where indents or the strongest part of the horse is if u know what i mean!!

Yeah I have 2, QH & Mustang. And the pasture is hooked onto our front porch so when we go outside they nicker and come running xD It's cute. I'm guessing by the "wowowowowowoow" that you don't have horses :\ I'm sorry about that, but you should be able to get a couple of you really want them soon

hee hee yer i don't but i used to do a lot of horse riding but because i live pretty much right in the city theres no where i could keep them, and i wouldn't have anyway of gettin to them, plus i'm a uni student so i need all the money i can muster for that, but i'm hoping in the future i can get enough money to own horses of my own, and be able to have enough money to look after them as well cuz they're a lot of money to keep!!

and yer the city can be quite tough but i think i live in quite a nice little city, but i live in the suburbs of the city so it's quite friendly around where i live.
and yer cuz the only thing i've ever done is ridden a horse and helped out once or twice, chances are if i do ever get a horse when i'm older i'll defiantly need help looking after him/her!!

I know I don't mean like the rough and tough gangzters, I just don't like the closed in streets, car fumes everywhere, pitch green grass, etc. >.< Drives me crazy hahaha. That's good that you live in the good part of town though
Hahahah probably xD The really aren't all that hard, but then again since i've had them my whole life I know almost everything there is (you can always learn more) cuz you gotta know all the signs of different sicknesses, injuries, etc.

and i know what you mean about the car fumes and stuff sometimes i smell it and it's absolutely disgusting, but i think it's because i've grown up in the city that i very rarely smell the car fumes, but about 5 minutes from my house these like a huge patch of land which anyone can go on and it kinda makes you feel like you're in the country, but not with all the farm animals and stuff!!
and yer i could never know if a horse was sick unless it was on the ground.......not moving.......and not breathing, so yer i'm a bit of an amateur on the whole thing, that's probably why i would hire help!!

Oh yeah huh, you get used to it and stuff. Kinda like I never really know how fresh the air up here is until I go to the city, or if I wake up at 5 am (which I do without an alarmclock -.-) That's really cool though that there is a big patch of land and all
LOL! Yeah, well that is a tell-tale sign xD The biggest signs usually are like if a horse loses hair, has its head lower than it's withers but isn't eating (for like 5 mins or more, and be sure it's not just sleeping lol) or they kinda just LOOK sick. Or they could be limping, laying down for 20mins +. It's ok if they lay down for a little bit but more than that they are most likely colicing. :\ Feel free to hire me as help!!

i wake up (if i'm lucky) between 12 and 2pm but i do go to bed around 2 to 4am so when the suns about to rise i fall asleep (and for some reason talking about sleep has made me sleepy at 12am)!!
and omg i would love to swim with horses, i've been looking on websites for about 2 years and trying to convince my dad to take me to hot countries where we can both go riding and swim in the sea with horses, unfortunately i can't for the time being cuz i've messed up my left hand so i'm gonna need surgery on it soon/next year abouts!!
and if i do need help i shall ask you!!

Wowww the ocean?? o.o That would be cool/scary!! I've never been to the ocean with them (yet) mostly cuz I'm too afraid to go into the water myself lol! My horses were afraid of the small lapping sound that the LAKE made I was like "you wuzz! If this was the ocean you'd be GONE!" hahahaha but it's fun when they do swim. My mom said she would slide off her horses back and hold onto the tail while it swam O.o She was quite crazy in her young days. She would also run and jump over the horses rump onto it's butt (I don't know how....) hahaha. Im' sorry about your left hand D: What happened??? Did you break it or somethin? And yes you must ask me cuz I is a total GENIUS!! *lies*

haa haaa, don't strain yourself too much on the tacco's, just on my behalf!!
thing is as soon as i go back to uni the earliest i'll have to wake up will be probably 9am for 10pm lectures/practicals, but on days off it'll probs be 1/2pm for me as a morning
(btw is it weird to say that from your paragraph about horses swimming in the ocean it reminded me of a scene in a movie called Elizabeth 2 - the golden age, where all of the spanish ships r sinking and all you see r these horses jump out of burning ships and into the ocean swimming for shore)
and with my hand i could tell you exactly whats wrong with it but it's quite a long listen just on the right hand let alone the left, but the cliff notes are that i was doing some gymnastics (specifically a backwards walkover) and i tore a few ligaments and damaged a disk in my hand which has affected me slowly for 3 years now!!
hee hee and i'm sure it's not lies i bet u're absolutely great with horses!!

the strange about me is that if i wanna drawing i can't focus properly in the day where as night i'm like a speed demon with so many idea's coming from left right and centre, plus i like looking up at the night sky from my window, and i'm naturally a loner, always have been so i'm used to being by my self it's quite nice actually no one around you can do whatever the hell you want, which includes jumping around like a mad woman and singing at the top of ur lungs!!
