Well.... that brought me to the brink of insanity and back!
About 24 hours with photoshop and wacom tablet.
I tried to get across an eerie feeling of weariness with her expression and the lighting.
References to help with the face came images of Megan Fox and salma Hayek. I tried to render the face stocky to make her look like she could handle a fight. I also used some deep sea diving suit references to help with the armour.
I’ve learnt a few things from this portrait and some weaknesses that i have to address. I think that i need to practice the form principle more – i think her face may look a little flat. Im always chasing those perfect colours as ever. I also have to work on some decent brushes for those pesky pores.
Any criticism is welcome from any of you pros out there – i’d really appreciate that.

You are very kind. You know i look at it an see nothing but errors. I think the armour is good - that came from my brain, but her face is heavily referenced, and if i could paint a face without reference it might look better. I working on it!

Megan Fox if truly a hottie...you have done her justice here...I am one who just believes (not in your case) that she has too much exposure...
First, let me talk about her look of fatigue...she has it, kind of like"oh not more killer robots..."...plus she has a sexy look to her (i.e. her face has a couple of scrapes, no big wounds)...her hair has that hept but work out/ fighting sweaty look...that really makes the image and her...
Her helmet has been damaged enough that she can't wear it...an excellent action device...it shows a bit of weakness but she can still keep her head high...
I love the sparks flying everywhere...any piece of art with some type of action like that just makes you wonder what is causing all of that and its a really cool effect...
I'm glad the background is smokey and not busy with other action...
The damage on the armor is cool also...
I know you worked hard on this...and it shows...keep up the good work.

This is truly an AMAZING painting. You realy are talented. The feeling in her eyes. You can "feel" the experiense she has gone through. AND the mouth tells you she dont take sh** from noone. The lighting is top nodge. Love the sparks? Amber glow flying around her, and the hair is amazing. The wounds on her just makes her more real and the armor is very cool looking. Only thing "wrong" with her is her nose. looks a bit flat to me. And the backgraund could have a more.. ehhh ambient glow? I see the smoke but I don't feel the rubbles or what ever is burning out there. Still A TOP painting and I wish I had HAlf your talent. No prob. I think your quality level is stunning, and the good is you can made on those like that in relatively short time is a good think. Anyone normally would take weeks or months to finish something with that detail. It mean you can work for a professional studio that requires quick artwork creation.

I like her skull, she has the look of those big Ukrainian professional athletes. The look of tiredness is not complete because her mouth is too set. If it was open more, like she was breathing though her mouth, it would be a more complete effect. The ears also look a little wierd. They seem low on her head, but I think that is just hewr hard to see jawline.
Just my opinion obviously, but i think with her mouth open and more detail on her jaw, this will go from an excellent picture to an exceptional one.
