hello, what kind of style would u call this?
i really want to achieve this kind of painterly effect, but got no lucky finding a tutorial on youtube

Hi there ... this is a photomanipulation but it does have a lot of paint over on this one (borders on mixed media).
Once I finish editing the photo images I just start to paint over. I have Photoshop CS6 and a tablet, I choose a soft brush and generally set the opacity and flow quite low.
I must admit it has taken me some time and a lot of practice over the last few years

your videos are truly inspirational to me
At first I thought this type of works are all done by digital painting, and too bad i am just not type of person who can paint well.
now,I am guessing that the key of making this type of art is about the remaking of the lightning, not strobe light lighting, but rather the lighting in painting.
I am definitely gonna go look up more paint works and study how the people are lid in painting.
