One of the Elite Four, and the Ice-type specialist. She doesn't appear the first time, though, as her older sister Serena is in the Elite Four at that time; after Team Oleander is defeated and Serena arrested, Daphne takes her place, though can only be battled after defeating the Champion. Trainers who defeat her in a Single Battle get the Opposite Symbol, but no TM. She can Mega Evolve her Pokémon with her Mega Ice Skates.

She is allergic to the sun (strange as that may sound), and as such she has to spend most of her time indoors; the few times she goes outdoors, she wears a hooded jacket over her attire. She often carries a parasol with her as well, and she is also the leader of a group called Team Dahlia. Though this group starts off as a band of crooks, they eventually are ordered by Daphne to help the citizens of the Vresun region against Team Oleander.

She is the cousin of the Seymour girls (the first three Gym Leaders of the Vresun region). She also has a rivalry with Hinata Tyranto.
