Description Art trade of Nano! Woo! I'm finally going down that list and finishing them up! Hope you like it ^_^ i tried a different, less intense method of coloring with these. I tend to really attack the drawing most of the time, but this time I tried to focus on keeping it light. It still ended up kind of dark, but eh, it's an improvement I think ^_^

the fold and shading of the dress look beautiful, the shape and colour of it makes it look like a flower. So pretty

Hehe colouring lightly is a challenge for me too XD I love attacking the paper XD hehehe whenever I shade too dark i go crazy with the eraser X3 (I also like to use my eraser to 'smooth' out the shading, if that makes any sense )

This came out wonderful though! ^__^ I love how you use trad media!

This is lovely work Kina, I love the hair, it's gorgeous! I really love the dark colors as well, it makes her stand out more. I love that dress too its so fancy ;;

Absolutly gorgeous Kina...as always and i really like what you said to Pixel-spotlight...a couple of artist i've met have been very rude to people who may not have the skills they do...you keep your feet on the ground and thats great...theres much to be admired there. i really admire all your work but i love your traditional artwork...somehow i cant get the results you do :3

i hate to sound cliche, but practice does make perfect I learn something new every time I use traditional media. I used to mainly just use flat colors, but all you really have to do is have patience. it doesnt even really matter what you use, because anyone can make the best quality pencils look like crap, while at the same time someone who has been drawing forever can make the worst quality dollar store pencils look like pros. It's all in the technique, handing, and experience. so keep on truckin! i know i have a long way to go, too!

i agree with suzanami... beautiful pencil work.. if you want to try lighening it up.. you could try (what i keep meaning to try) where the highlights are.. just leaving white or uncolored..

yeah i thought about that. its SOOO hard for me to leave anything white or uncolored! it feels unfinished when I do that. i just cant.. resist.. fillinf.. everything... in! maybe that will be my next challenge XD thanks! <3
