I absolutely love the Icelandic band Sigur Ros. I thought I'd dedicate these shoes to them. I used all the cover art ideas and random little things about Sigur Ros that I knew of plus I put Icelandic viking symbols on them. Ones for protection and the other is a compass. I put a piano on the side becuase i love the songs where they use piano the most. I just love piano's in general actually. the top left side is their Takk album, and the other side is their Untitled () album.brushes used:

These are to die for. Do you only paint canvas or would other types of shoes be possible to have painted? I'm afraid I know virtually nothing about paint, so I'm not sure what would hold up on what.

well, converse is made out of a type of material that is easy to paint on and sketch on as well. More puffy, athletic shoes are coated with more shiny material which doesn't assure me that the materials I use would hold up over time. I believe I can paint on flats, ballet shoes, converse or any plain white shoes with similar material. I just need a big enough space to work on. I'm planning on doing a pair of "adventure time" shoes soon, if enough people are interested in what I paint, then I might start selling custom orders on etsy.

no, i bought them specifically in my size. but for $75 I'd paint custom shoes to order. everyone at my school wanted a pair, but they never had the cash. it's only $30 if they supply me with the shoes they want painted. white converse alone are $45.
