it’s the little things that matter.i mentioned previously that these two have known each other for a long time. and yeah, admittedly the whole of the group have been around each other, pretty much their whole lives. since their parents are best friends. but these two are especially close, as soarin was a stay at home dad, who retired early to take care of his kids. and one of those kids were honeybee, fluttershy’s daughter.
and while she wasn’t his, soarin happily took care of her like his own. and has always protected and supported her however he could, as he himself grew up without a father. so he was determined to make sure honeybee had a figure she could rely on! by blood or not!
as a result, honeybee and pige were together an awful lot. and they have a closeness that exceeds a lot of the others in the group. pige was also bullied quite a lot in middle school, so it tended to be honeybee who swooped in and defended him from the bullies.
they have a connection that not many could compare to another. but these two would perish for each other, they tell each other just about everything. and what pige can’t typically say or admit to others, he’ll more often than not say to honeybee.
