lock’s friends are relentlessly supportive, unconditional kind, and optimistic balls of light. and by lock’s friends, i mean key, and lock always appreciates her words of support and kind actions. in fact, key is the go to person when lock is going through something. but that support only does so much help, especially when lock has done something pretty stupid. key would never tell lock that she had done something bad, and only wants to look on the bright side. but luckily, lock has the stubborn, brash, sharped eyed harvey.

harvey and lock are pretty close, even though they don’t actively show it. harvey is always there to push lock to grow and be better, and lock does the same for harvey. the two are witches who prefer not to look behind their sides of the fields, but they are strong willed enough to point out when something seems off in the field over. harvey’s low motivation leads to lock telling him to get his shit together, and lock’s sour attitude that only hears what she wants to causes harvey to set things straight with her.

they counter each other very well, and yeah, that does lead to a lot of dumb arguments and an unnecessary amounts of jabs. it’s never never really said out of maliciousness, only out of frustration and concern for the other. but that doesn’t mean they never get into trouble because of that, lock and harvey egg each other on into some stupid stuff. and that is usually the cause of why the two of them get into trouble without their leading lady alongside ‘em.
