so, i know this is kind of funny. iv never done a pencil animation... yeah, iv done flash and a flip note here and there. but this is my first, drawing on paper and scanning it in to make a motion pic. im pretty pleased with it.so, yeah, its like the bounce the ball practice over used animation thingy. but with ponies. who doesnt like ponies. come on. i feel a little bad because i made red ink all playful and graceful, the the other pony... just kind of...well...DERP! but oh well, its silly, and cute. i dont think he will mind.
so, yeah, good ol pencil animation, frame by frame. ill be posting this on youtube here once im done editing it and all that good crap with audio. i might color it in... i MIGHT.... probably not though... this was one of those random ideas that hit you right before you go to bed and keeps you up all night.

Great Work! How long did it take you just for all of the drawings?

the drawings by itself would have taken me 2 hours at most. what steals time in animation is when you plan how gravity is to effect the animal. so, i started with the first frame of them on the ball, and the middle frame of them in the air. from there, you have to fill it in and think about how to make it all flow. drawing it isnt the hard part. its making the movements as natural as possible.

well i have this amazing capabilty of scanning immages for things that other people don't often see . i also saw that they noses met , and there for i concluded and saw the blussing

yhea , i something i do unintentionaly . i can scrutineze the animation a bit more , but that would just be stupid . altough i think i see that the pegasus wings has around 4 wings in the "up" position and more in the down position . that is an example of things i see , not alway's fun

Thanks! and i saw you published an album on tumbler. I DIDNT KNOW YOU COULD SING! i loved it! im just a noob on tumbler and i dont know how to post a reply and i havent really bothered to try learning XD
