Since Syndra has so many balls out, that means she was probably just harassing Ahri in lane with her Q...
And since they're both using their ults at the same time, that means Ahri missed her all-important Charm...
Which means Syndra is the probably the one who engaged...
Which means Syndra was doing better in lane than Ahri (see back to point 1)...
And given Syndra's burst potential...
Honestly, I think the best Ahri can hope for in this situation is that Syndra dies with her.

Salce(streams on Twitch now) plays a lot of Syndra. Can't really say about Muramana. It seems like a lot of downtime(charging it up), and wasted effect for your other spells just to make your ult better.

Not a problem 
But if you ever go support Syndra Muramana might not be that bad for her. It'll give you the mana needed to use your spells all the time, and your ult would still hit pretty hard for the little amount of gold you would get.
