Yaay, I do like the idea of a giantess that isn't destructive, but constructive X3

This would definitely make building houses a lot easier. owo They would just need to put the roof together and have the giant lift it up.
Very nice~

I'm guessing it was a tile at her scale and she just scratched lines in it. XD;;
But it could totally work if everything was measured right! Though...on the 2nd story....what if it turned out to be too heavy and fell through? o.o Oh, super glue, duh. 8D

JawmesBetaBuild In reply to Kindii [2011-09-29 03:59:25 +0000 UTC]
hm... depends. you're not taking into account the extra weight of people, which wouldn't be spread evenly across the one tile, and the basement, not to mention the fact that the foundation would have a hard time with the extra weight.

Not to mention incorporating gas, electricity, and water. She thinks she's helping, but she's really just making an unstable box. o.o

JawmesBetaBuild In reply to Kindii [2011-09-30 20:38:44 +0000 UTC]
We'll assume the water, gas and electricity was already incorperated, and what she's putting down is what makes up the floorboards, marked out for where the tiles are supposed to go.

Nice work on her face--at that difficult angle. Although, the rest of her head/hair does seem a little off--a bit bigger than it should be...

people are always scared of giants they forget they can be helpful. same deal with aliens, not all are here for invasions and lasers of doom... even though Filan has lasers of doom.. does not mean hes going to blow up monuments with them(though with the current economy some might ask him to make Wallstreet Disappear)

Filanwizard In reply to Kindii [2011-09-28 04:42:40 +0000 UTC]
Actually Filan might be scared of the Alaerin... god knows they would be beating down the door of his ship thinking hes a smaller version of their males and not actually just a blue elf from a distant galaxy.
back on direct topic... I think one issue is as a giant do you always help or do you eventually go into business. I mean helping people gets you "Faction" with the humans but at some point you have to make a living hehe. Now of course someone like Erein has a job already(and no his job description is not Teleport-Napping human females... For Science!) hehe.

Why is my mind going to a certain episode of Futurama? O___O;;
Oh yeah, especially if the giant is trapped in a world at a smaller scale, he really would need to turn it into a business, huh? I mean...food alone would not be fun to procure on his own.

Filanwizard In reply to Kindii [2011-09-28 19:29:14 +0000 UTC]
I think I know which one too.
That is one reason I made Erein a mage so that I could handwave the food issue with summoning his own food. But still if trapped on earth he would have to least/buy a warehouse to live in because not even a loft apartment would fit him. I feel sorry for the first girlscout that knocks on his door though lol. That is almost picture worthy lol.

Mage food as in bread, assorted pastries, and water only?
Time for kindii to expand on this awesome idea! XDDDD
One annoyingly early morning (to most people, anyway), a little girl scout by the name of Patricia Childe strolls down a sadly empty street clad in her freshly-ironed green and white uniform with her wagon of boxed cookies in tow. Her first target of the day is a new 12 story apartment complex just a few blocks away from her home. Patricia knew that such a large building would mean enough sales to finally beat that bratty Matilda Prewett, who wins the trip to space camp every year. Finally reaching the building, Patty takes a steadying breath, pushing any animosity towards her competition away and replaces it with a broad (though hopefully not too fake) smile. She rings a buzzer next to a set of wooden double doors leading into what she assumes to be the lobby and hopefully a doorman that's been craving Samoas. She hears movement inside, but no answer. Not one to be ignored, she presses the buzzer again and again. Another moment later, a rather amplified groan of annoyance emits from behind the closed doors. Before she can even summon her trademark puppy dog eyes, a rectangular 90x30 foot portion of the building opens inwards and a man matching the scale of the gigantic door pokes his head out, clad in an untied bathrobe, frumpy star print pajama bottoms, matching slippers, and a serious case of bed head. Squinting into the bright morning light, something he hadn't expected to see so soon after a long night of work, the titanic man looks down and grumbles "I swear, if you don't have any thin mints, I'm transporting you to another world. =.="

Erein is not limited by such things!
And LOL at the mini story. I could see one very scared girl going running from Erein before he could even finish stating he was just kidding about the transporting thing.
