you know i got a good look at the characters and i noticed that theres a Robin (Tim?) and Garfeild and Batgirl but they looksolder so my theory is Time Travel!!!
so either the Team went to the future by accident and helps in the invasion or heros from the future come to our time to prevent the invasion from happening.
AAAAAAA why sant the show air on fridays again!!!! its so much harder to wait for saturdays with school to distract meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I think it's more like the timeline is set in the future and the original team is gone (except for miss martian and superboy) and a new team has formed.

I definitely agree that there's a time jump. But I think it's just the team been working for a year off screen and then the season pick up just was things hit the fan.
