Tito is something of a gentle giant, mellowed out from his teenage years and living life as an average citizen. The best way he is decribed is as a rock to the people in his life. He likes to be there more than to actually act. If there's a way he's asked to help that won't endanger anyone or break the law, he'll do it. He's easily swayed by people who need his help but never forces it on anyone. Additionally, Tito is rather calm about things as long as they're and has a difficult time complaining about anything. He prefers to sit back and ruminate on persectives before acting. Although the events of two years ago were...unusual for his personality he seems to be doubling down t in the hopes it will redeem him.

Despite how much he tries to take care of other people Tito has a tendancy to neglect himself in sleep and eating. He can feel compelled to isolate himself, beat himself up for his past. When he doesn't stay busy he can too quickly get absorbed. Additionally, although he can handle the emotions of others projected outwards, but when they are focused on him and of the negative sort he can quickly get overwhelmed. Generally he only thinks to mirror the other's emotions... for example if they're angry he'll get angry too. Physical altercations can trigger an aggressive response. Additionally there are some parts of of himself and his history that he does not share unless he's feeling absolutely safe to.



History:

Tito had a fairly standard lower middle class childhood as the child of immigrants to the Unova region. He finished high school but did not go to college, grew up with two older siblings, and two hard working parents and Several beloved pets. As a child Tito was able to make a little bit of money though pet watching and walking and was known to find injured pokemon and attempt to adopt them after nursing them back to health.

In his teenage years he suffered consequeces of bad company and his inherent suggestability. He started picking up some extra cash as a third party drug dealer. Just before age 19 he was caught with 2 grams of methamphetamines and charged with a class 6 felony for 'Possession of a Controlled Substance'. He spent 12 long months in jail. Finding work was difficult after that and after he was eventually turned out of his house to he took what little money he had at about 22 and moved to the Tohaku region. After a tumultuous few years he carved out a life as a steel worker, got married to a lovely young woman by the name of Lena, and had a son named Andres. It seemed that he turned his life around after his year in prison.

  Although things seemed to be shaping up to be a pretty quiet, normal life but Tito was not happy. He had a good life, sure, but he wasn't happy. Since his youth he'd struggled with something that scared him. He wasn't attracted to girls no matter how hard he tried and how many he dated. he would never admit it but, prison was the one and only time that he had a chance to explore. Going back was never the same, but he tried out of a sense of duty to his family. Sadly that only lead to misery, he loved his wife--that much was true-- but not quite in the way he wished for himself. As the years went on it did not get better no matter how hard he tried. It just wasn't him.

At about 39 he finally came out to his wife and it ended their marriage in a rather emotional divorce. Although he and his ex are on pretty good terms but his son will not speak to him. Both he and his Lena have tried to talk to him to no avail. Since then Tito has started to explore his new life with cautious acceptance of his identity. With his savings he's getting back to his roots and redicovering his love for animals by opening a small petshop.

Other:
-Titos arms are huge and heavy and can cause damage upon rough contact.

-His tail is thick and heavy but also rather small, it seems to function as kind of a counterbalance

-Has little feeling in his arms. As a child he would shed the skin there once every month or so.. now he only molts once a year!

-Tito admires the "greaser" trope and emulates it with his style. Slicked back hair, jeans, and a leather jacket alway.

-He tries to present an extreior or tough n' manly

-his teeth are very sharp! he does have molars set back in his mouth.

-Allergies: Has an allergy to horse-related pokemon, eating shelfish.

-Comorbid PTSD and GAD;; Tito expereinces overlaping anxiety and post-traumatic systems related to his stay in prison as a younger man. In quiet times, if his thoughts wander, he may re-expereince or recall some of his expereinces and be crippled by extreme psychological distress. He also has frequent anxiety about things like his son using drugs, getting arrested, police officers, aggressive people, being over powered, or even knocks on his door after night fall. he often had difficulty falling asleep. He treats his symptoms with bi-monthly therapy.
