nigel used to be a normal axolotl until a experimental liquid was being transferred by the government the guy moving it got attacked by a bear said liquid spilled into a cave and he mutated as the man was being attacked he came out and scared the bear away the man fearing he's going to be eaten cowers behind a log before hearing hello they became friends after that not wanting to call him axolotl creature thing anymore he thought of the name axol that was before he ask to be called nigel wich he's perfectly fine with he's the only person who can keep nigel from attacking everyone being that axolotls will eat anything that can fit in their mouth
he is in the same planet as the orange eagle
when nigel speaks it sounds like gargled English with grunts
