Here we have One of the few insect kaiju to be a queen of sorts, Megaguirus.

I remember hearing the name "Megaguirus" on my old DVD trailers promoting the old Godzilla movies and didn't learn who she was until playing the video games. When I saw her movie, I'll admit she was one that didn't grab me like a lot of others do, but I don't hate her either. I do believe she has potential, since her being a mutated evolution of Meganula is cool, as is giving Godzilla a bit of a challenge with her speed, something I don't see often. I'd put her as one of the straightforward kaiju, like in a "oh look, it's her" kind of way.

A lot of fan designs for Megaguirus tend to emphasize the insect-ness of her design, but I honestly felt like the original puppet was a fine start, especially as a monster insect. I increased the size of her claws ever so slightly, added some extra spikes here and there, and gave her the colorations of her in-game model from Save The Earth, since I actually liked the paler color scheme she had there.
