Description
As soon as she received news of her husband's displacement, Sora was determined to get him back. The empires were once her home, but that bond had fully broken. They'd burned down her city. Harmed her children. And stolen her beloved. And she would stand for it no longer. In communication with the city's hunters, a plan was hatched to set free their solider. Relocating to Portia, they plotted further. And on a cool November night, they set out.

As snarls and shouts filled the air, the hunter leaned wearily on the shoulder of his mate. She was so brave. The strength required to come back to this place was tremendous. As always, he was in awe of her. Tired eyes brightened as he watched the warriors around them. He saw family, students, friends. It was a comfort, to know they truly did have his back. Pride filled his heart as the hunters pushed forward, making sure there were no followers as they made their escape back to the hunter port. Despite still being in the frost-kissed forest, as he walked among the city's bravest he'd never felt more at home.
