Great, indeed.
The detail in the eyes, the reflection, is superb.
The background seems a bit flat, I have to agree with aeonsonance.
Maybe, if the tree on the right was a bit further away, kind of unsharp . . . it would give more of a 3-D effect.

haha that tree was the first one i tried this "fake bark" technique on... if it were watercolour, it'd be easy with wet and dry techniques... but i'll keep that in mind for my next piece... thanks for your comment!

haha I actually tried putting more depth and the photo is rather blurry because if I use flash, it'll reflect...due to my inabilities on canvas, the supposed deep forestry has lost its remoteness... but i'm learning... i'll grasp it on my next one
