i totally worked on this for like 6 months on and off and its like the coolest thing ive ever made! i put prob like 60 hours into it and its only about 6" 4". lol, i literally wanted it to be exactly how the original durer drawing looked and its prertty damn close! i even forged his sig lol. tell me what you think of it guys, and whether you think it was worth it to spend that much time on a tiny drawing.
Media: white charcoal, pencils, water colors, gauche, and acrylic paint

my fave time period was probably the classical greek period.
and my fav older artists are Bernini and Caravaggio. and yeah, its
pretty cool in person. my mom tried to get me to sell it to a friend for
$50 but i love it to much. do you have a fav period or artist?

i think i really dig the renaissance mostly because that's the time that
Michelangelo was around. i also really dig the era of photo realism that
was around in the 1950-70's. Chuck Close is my idol xD oh, and your so

Yes! I'm so bad with adjectives but it was so fun! I went to London as well, really lovely architecture. Lol no don't be jelly! I'm sure you'll get a chance to go!! (: haha no I don't think so, this man or anonymous artist or whatever replicated a kouros and fooled the Getty into buying for around ten million dollars or so? He was a magnificent sculptor and he did an amazing job in the Sistine chapel. My books are so outdated so I'll look him up! Aw likewise!

a crap ton of different mediums and media. for these pieces though, im
just sticking to ink and watercolor
