*Later on the evening news channel*
[Two news reporters are visible on the screen. One is a female human named Audrey, and the other is a male monster named Neil.]
Audrey: “Good evening. A cure for the mysterious virus spreading across the island has been found. This is done by basically killing those who are infected with the virus, according to King Just-Kon. If they are killed, their bodies will regenerate back to their normal state and will come back to life, uninfected. The reason why this happens is unknown. King Just-Kon and his friend, Haydn Parker were the ones that traveled to the Ocean Side Zone today, and cured thousands of creatures, including a massive turtle hawk that tried to attack them. Here are some of Just-Kon and Haydn’s answers to some questions from the community.”
[The screen cuts to Just-Kon and Haydn being surrounded by people holding microphones. Cameras are also flashing.]
Person 1: “King Just-Kon. When you and Haydn were at the Ocean Side Zone, did you find the shadow thief that was responsible for the virus?”
Just-Kon: “Unfortunately, no. We did not see him anywhere. Only the infectants.”
Person 2: “Mr. Parker. Since y’all only took care of the Ocean Side Zone, what will y’all do about the Tropical Valley Zone?”
Haydn: “Well based on the threat we just faced, Just-Kon thought it would be necessary to recruit more fighters before going. To be honest, I think he knows what he’s doing.”
Person 3: “Your highness. What will you do about the people in the Tropical Valley Zone who are still trying to survive the virus?”
Just-Kon: “Well since killing the infectants doesn’t kill the hosts they are controlling, I suggest it is ok to use combat against them. This goes for the other zones as well.”
Person 4: “Mr. Parker. Do you know anything about how the virus spreads?”
Haydn: “Just-Kon told me that the virus is not contagious, and can only be spread through either biting or even killing the victim.”
[The screen cuts back to the two news reporters.]
Audrey: “Neil has some extra stuff to say.”
Neil: “Right after Kin Just-Kon and Haydn left the Ocean Side Zone, something bizzare was caught on camera from one of the locals. There appeared to be a strange knight leaving one of the islands on a boat. The identity of this knight is unknown, but he appears to be closely similar to the vessels from the kingdom, Hallownest. Just-Kon and Haydn stated that they were chasing after this knight after they were told that the knight fought against the Coral Knight, who was infected by the virus. The Coral Knight said that the knight didn’t tell him his name and was holding a really old nail in hand. Future encounters with this knight could be possible in the future.”
Audrey: “Thank you, Neil. That’s all for now.”
[The channel goes on commercial break.]
*Later at around 11:30 PM*
[Haydn is in one of the guest bedrooms, sleeping. Just-Kon is sitting alone in the living room.]
Just-Kon: *stares at the window*
{“...You really think anyone will trust you?...”}
Just-Kon: “Yes.”
{“...They won’t. You’re all alone. All you have is me…”}
Just-Kon: “You be quiet. I’m right. You’re wrong.”
{“...No, you be quiet!...”}
Just-Kon: “Just you wait until I find a way to get rid of you!”
{“...GRRRAAAAAA! That's it!...”}
Just-Kon: *falls to the ground while choking*
