Vector the Crocodile is a fictional anthropomorphic crocodile from the Sonic the Hedgehog series who debuted in Knuckles' Chaotix. Vector is the current leader and head honcho of the Chaotix Detective Agency. Large and imposing with a kind heart beneath his scaly exterior, Vector is always ready to take jobs that pay good money, but is also always willing to help those in need for free, leaving his agency in its eternally poor state. Known for his great love of music, Vector's trademark accessory is a set of headphones which he always listens to, even during missions.

White Bomber: Wha– Wait a minute! *no one listens* Hey! I SAID WAIT!!! *still no one listens as the fight went on*
[About 15 seconds later, Sonic, Mega Man, and Rush entered the lab when they heard the noise, and saw the battle occurring.]
Sonic: What's going on here?
Mega Man: Kids, behave yourselves! This is why we can't have nice things!
Penny: Rock, help us!!! We're being attacked!!!
[Vector grabs Penny from behind and Penny screams in pain.]
Vector: Well look who's here. If they ain't the Blue Bomber and Sonic the "Kidnapper".
Sonic: I'm no kidnapper, pal...
Mega Man: *gasps* Wheel Gator!? How did you survive?
Rush: *barks angrily at Vector*
Mega Man: Hands off my Girl Genius! "Quick switch to Metal Man's schematics"! *switches to Metal Blade*
[Rock pulls out a Metal Blade and was about to open fire. Suddenly, someone appears behind Mega Man and 'yoinks' the blade from his hand before he could throw them at his objective.]
???: Give me that.
Mega Man: Hey!?
*Thomas and Vex gasp*
[That figure was none other than Vanilla. She stopped Mega Man from throwing his Metal Blade.]
Dr. Light: It's... It's you!
Vanilla: Nice to see you again, Dr. Light.
Geo: Besides metahumans back·stealing your gadgets, any other bright ideas, little brother?
Rock: Plan B; "Quick switch to Impact Man's schematics"! *changes to Pile Driver* "Speed Gear!"
[Mega Man charged at Vector, only for Vanilla to slow him down by grabbing his bare hand.]
Vanilla: No you mustn't.
[Mega Man can see his rocket boots are still activated, but himself being pulled back.]
Rock: Let go of me.
Geo: Why are you defending that Maverick?
