Gotta admit not a fan of the cape since T'Challa would never wear one in combat but other then that this rocks!

...oh and he wouldn't wear it in combat, but he does have a cape. Besides, I think it looks dope.

WOW, the finale is here! *cheers*
Glad to see the whole thing came together so well Reflex and DAMN you got down the Black Panther and all his darkness down VERY well! For that reason it is making me feel the hype for him too seeing him in the next movie and heck let us hope he's a badass as you made him here.
For that reason I big time applaud at seeing the way you mixed in all that darkness with still being able to make out his body. That's a big challenge as you want to make things dark enough to give that sinister feel of the shadows and give you a bit of fear but at the same time you can't go so dark you fans can't see them!
Here though you clarrify that with balancing out the lighter aspects of the body, not too much that he's shiny but enough to see the build of the muscles, the outlines of the suit and the overall appearance of his character again like I said before like it was right out from the comic books covers.
The golden parts of the picture are what I like most. The help break up the black and give him that still shimmering touch that you still need to apply to your hero and very nice job on the way the left side of the picture feels a touch more bright then the one on the right. The overall lighting feels almost blue in a way like its the night moon shining down on him and it doing a great job on bringing his character to life.
Superb work from what I can see here Reflex, hats off to you for all your efforts. *nods*

Thanks. Yeah, it all came down to the lighting. I don't do comic style, as far as shadows and hatching/cross-hatching, that much, simply because it takes up so much time. I don't see how Jim Lee and others can do it so consistently and have such straight lines while doing it. I sort of used J. Scott Campbell's work for the shadowing and hatching and found a little bit of my own still while doing so. I create a few other pieces with this same approach.
