This is Chloe and her dragon: Speedblaze! Their first appearance is the 3 part special "Duel of the Dragons!"

Speedblaze is a Rage Runner, a medium sized Stoker class dragon from a realm in the Hidden World where there are wide open spaces and the ability to make her claws red hot. Rage Runners are very tall and are the fastest dragons when it comes to using their legs to travel! They're just as capable of flight like any other dragon, before flying they take off by running quickly on the ground and then leaping as high as they can! They hunt for fish and have a curious habit of standing with one leg while they land in lakes to hunt.

Chloe was a star athlete in her high school! Energetic, tomboyish and very sporty. Her mother and father are nature photographers and study wild animals for a living. Her parents had new jobs with the ICARIS research facility and arrived alongside the family of a Welsh young man named Scott.

The two meet and eventually meet Tom Kullersen and the Dragon Club and soon learn about their existence with dragons! Chloe and Scott have also arrived at a special tournament in the hidden world where the dragons of each realm compete to see which realm is the best!

But during this event Buzzsaw and his minions disrupt the tournament to capture as any dragons the can find! While Tom, Chloe and the Dragon Club battle Buzzsaw's minions, Scott is accidentally captured and taken to Buzzsaw's headquarters! Chloe felt terrible for all the poor dragons being captured by Buzzsaw and during the scuffle with Buzzsaw and the Dragon Club, Chloe crossed paths with a frightened Rage Runner! Thanks to observing her parents interact with animals, Chloe was able to calm and comfort the Rage Runner, bonding with her! And by working together Chloe and her new friend Speedblaze were able to help the Dragon overpower Buzzsaw and his men and force them to retreat while Scott escapes Buzzsaw's headquarters with his own dragon friend and some dragon escapees!

Chloe and Scott have now joined the Dragon Club, with Chloe as the wildlife specialist!
