So I'm doing a new series of chibis of my favourite mythical figures, and naturally I had to start with the Hindu goddess Kali

I've ADORED Kali ever since I first learned about her in religious studies class in high school. We only briefly learned about her but I went home and did my own research which just made me love her more. Many people are scared of her, she does have a bit of a scary appearance, but to her devotees she's a protective mother

I recommend looking up some of the stories of her, she's a badass
