Description
Simba had returned to Pride Rock after defeating Scar to claim his rightful place as King of the Pridelands. It was some months into the new King's reign, and the morning of the presentation of his newborn daughter, Kiara, who would go on to be the future Queen of the Pridelands. Sarabi, mother of the King, was ecstatic to be there to see the birth of her granddaughter, especially after all the pain and suffering Scar's realm as King had brought to the Pridelands before her son returned.
"It is time, son." A proud Sarabi told Simba. "I am so proud of you. If only your father was here, he will be so proud of you too."
"He is here, mother." Simba replied. A fresh breeze blew around them both, and all Simba could feel was the presence of his father. "Always."
A long overdue picture featuring Sarabi. This is before the presentation of Kiara. We never saw Sarabi after she watched Simba roar from Pride Rock at the end of the first movie. I would have liked to have seen her there to see the presentation of her granddaughter. This is what I picture would have happened if she had been there :3
I'm pleased with this. I referenced the sky from the scene at the end of the first movie, just after Simba's cub (Kiara?) was born. It was fun
Update (13/06/20): Sorted Sarabi's tooth out. Thanks I knew something looked a bit odd.
