Description
A group of Nazis has exhumed the corpse of a powerful vampire. Their scientists then performed experiments on him, ultimately implanting him with fragments of Treeman (likely an Ent or Leshy) tissues. These have assimilated with their new host, drastically changing his body. It became enormous creature covered in tree bark and possessing branch-like limbs. Of the original vampire, only a head was visible sticking out of the wooden armor, a bit like turtle’s head from the shell. This monster was extremely durable, nearly invincible due to the fact it could vampirize earth itself with its root-like appendages and thus regenerate indefinitely. The head could retrackt into wooden armor and cover itself with branches protecting it from sunlight and other forms of damage.Related content

That pale human head atop that gnarled body is just fantastic. A tree monster with a human head would sound silly, but you have done a great job making it super creepy. Love it!

Hulk może i ma ogromną siłę fizyczną, ale sama siła pięści raczej nie pokona tak potężnej, szybko regenerującej się kreatury. Za to Hellboy dysponuje zarówno siłą (szczególnie w prawicy będącej kluczem do Ogdru Jahad), zgrabnymi pukawkami, wiedzą magiczną o nietypowych sposobach walki i do tego odpornością na ogień (wiem że zwykły niewiele da, ale i tak przyda się w walce

I am not sure what kind of weather balloon would be enough to pull such a heavy object into the air though. Perhaps a space rocket would be a better idea XP Especially that if he damages the rocket it's going to explode and damage him even further, unlike a balloon. I must say I do like the artillery idea like some giant silver bullet would be awesomely epic.

Looking at him, I wanted to give him some picturesque name. Not neutral as the Tree Vampire, but, for example, Snag the Blood-Sucker, in our languages it sounds even more brutal and fierce: Коряга Кровопийца or Kikut Krwiopijca.

Everything is very simple The conditional Vampire and Leshy had their own original names during his life. The Nazis after exhumation of corpses called their project a different name. And people who became his victim, could think up for him some sort of nickname.

I have such feeling that this language was thought out by some coddled princess Bloody-Bloody-Bloody-Puppy-Puppy-Puppy-Uty-Puty In Russian this sounds like: Bloody - KROVAVIY ; Puppy - SHCHENOK. I'm imagining his formerly human head can move around on his tree-derived body a lot more than it could on his original human body. Specifically, he could grow a much larger exterior shell of a head made from bark and wood which would have a retractable "tongue" tipped with his human face .
His human head might also be his only weak spot. The rest of his wooden body is almost indestructibly strong and heals supernaturally fast, yet decapitation or destruction of his head will kill him. Unfortunately for any would-be vampire slayers, he knows this and keeps his head retracted at all times except for when he's feeding and needs its fangs to be accessible.

Well, the head and heart are as much of a weak spot as in any vampire. However, decapitating something that is ~4 meters tall won't be easy. I am not even sure if it would work at all, as this vampire does not need fangs to feed as it can drain life force from earth as well as blood from humans with his root/branch appendages, that he can produce on the entire surface of his wooden suit. It's basically as if he was feeding constantly. Therefore it is quite possible that even what would be lethal for any standard vampire, this guy could potentially regenerate. Like I said before, the best way I see for defeating this guy would be somehow shooting him into the air and then pummeling him with extreme firepower, that will destroy his heart/head by the time he falls to the ground and has the chance to regenerate.
