Description
The biggest fans of a certain metal band among Tyranid hive fleets! While searching for the older version of the model which I prefer, I found this guy really cheap on an auction so I adopted him
The poisonous Venomthrope shrouds his fellow Tyranids with spore clouds that are deadly to the enemy but provide a smokescreen for the allies.

Love the work and detail, for some reason they remind me of my favorite sci fi alien the tripods from War of the Worlds(2005),also I plan on drawing this one soon,yay^^

I like those, not so much fond of the movie itself ( it would have been better more faithful to the source material) but the Tripod design was awesome

Hm. How can I tell... I found the new miniatures a little bit... "Zerg-ish". Tyranids (for example) in DoW 2 look like something what I have to afraid... Those with the new design aren't so scary though.

Just gonna add my two cents by saying that the Zerg were literally based off of the Tyranids, so they kinda have to be Zergish.

Oh, certainly. But I think it works both ways because for example Tyranid Raveners are very similar to Hydralisks and they were first introduced a couple of years after Starcraft!
