Please. I don't mind Pikachu, but both Mewtwo and Charizard ARE SO OVERRATED I CAN'T EVEN STAND SOMEONE CRYING OUT THEIR NAMES. No wonder why the latter was a fully pledged playable in SSB4!

Pikachu is my favorite Pokémon(Along with Jigglypuff.) but I do think he is overrated. Personally, I think there's Pokémon out there who are more overrated than Pikachu, though.(Charizard, Lucario, Umbreon, ect.)

I regret adding Pikachu/Raichu to my Y team. I'm barely using him now! Man, there are LOTS of better Electric type pokemon than this guy. I do like him though.

The only thing I dislike about Pikachu is that he almost never loses a single battle.Even when other pokemon have the type advantage or are just plain kickass,he kills them in just a few hits,if not one.Seriously...what the heck XD

I think Emolga is cuter than Pikachu (personal opinion)....but Raichu is the coolest of the electric rodents (seriously, Raichu needs more love- I have a neutral feeling towards the whole light ball thing- for one, its cool that they can increase stats and make the pika family learn volt tackle.......but on the other hand, it can only be held by Pikachu- making it outspeed Raichu -_- It's like a big slap in the face to Raichu fans....)

I can name a ton more pokemon cuter than pikachu- Mew, Celebi, Zorua, Eevee (even if its overrated), Oshawott, even Snivy....

Although I don’t really hate Pikachu, it’s never been my favorite Pokémon and the fact that he’s a total Gary Stu and the fans treat it as a god is just plain creepy. They always made him the hero in everything. Even the people who hate the first gen still treat him like a god and refuse to hate on him like they do with the other first gen Pokémon.

I also find it funny that everyone says that Pikachu is better than Raichu just because Ash’s Pikachu defeated a Raichu but they never stop to mention that he did so AFTER he got his butt kicked by him. I also heard that the same thing happened in a later episode (I stopped watching the series during the 7th season and never liked the games).

There are OTHER Pokémon, any of which are far better and cooler than Pikachu. I’ve only had like 5 Pokémon games in my entire life and Pikachu wasn’t very good in any of them and despite popular belief he is NOT the most powerful Pokémon in the world.
