Description
As much as I love the Animal Crossing series, I'm a little disappointed there aren't any villagers for many animal species in our animal Kingdom. With a huge bulk of the ingame villagers mostly being domesticated animals, which is a shame. I'd love to see more of the less well known creatures make appearances in game and see them get the cute chibi-anthro style treatment.

Nonetheless, being inspired by the Welcome Amiibo update, I felt like doodling up some villager design but... if you know me I love to do things differently or draw things in a different light. So rather than draw my characters in the typical 'modern day, rural town' setting, I thought I'd doodle them in a more... tribal/Jungle setting. Whereby ingame tasks such as fishing and fruit collecting would be linked to the characters survival and well-being as opposed to 'making money'.

That being said... I don't see Sazura as an actual 'villager' per say, but more as a... mischievous, out-cast 'villainous' type character who adores lulling unsuspecting villagers from the safety of their tribal huts and cocooning them comfortably in her coils and squeezing the 'Joy points' out of them! Whilst also making use of her serpentine voodoo powers to place her prey under hallucinogenic trances to make capturing them all the easier~.

Though she is an out-cast, the real reason why she doesn't wear clothes is because they get in the way of her slithering. She's extremely flexible and will usually get from place to place by slithering branch to branch, she rarely stands on her own two legs as a result. She does however wear a Carnelian quartz Necklace. Which she occasionally uses for a 'special purpose'.

Her favourite fruit type are Persimmons but she's also very fond of Lychee.
Her favourite flower type are Cosmos particularly orange hybrids, but she really likes red ones too.
Her personality is generally rather seductive in front of company, but she has a geeky side to her mischievousness.

I'm happy with how she came out, I tried to replicate the grass style in game but... give it a more rainforest- look? I don't think it works well, I might try something different next time. I wasn't sure about how to go about how to go about the hands, I tried without but it just did not seem right, so in the end I gave her some, but... I still kept the stubby Chibi legs. I think they're ok.

She's more of a Cobra due to the hood, though I took inspiration at least one other snake species in her design.

I would have drawn her tail longer to reflect it's true length but... I didn't want it to take up more of the screen then it needed to. I'll give you a better idea of it's length if I ever do a coil drawing or whatnot with her.
